from the Governor
May 2011
As newly elected Governor I would
like to first introduce our newly elected board of officers. Past
Governor George Bergau, Jr. Governor Tom Rider, Treasurer Pat Boehm,
Prelate Russ Roberts, Trustees, Jeff Holmes, Homer Saunders, Carl
Nattania, Inner Guard Kevin Dwyer, and Sergeant Of Arms Larry
Korwatch, and our Administrator Wally Adkinson. As newly elected
Governor I hope I can do as well as our past Governor George Bergau
has done over the last year, without his constant commitment and
dedication over the last year I'm not sure if we would have done as
well as we have. Also our Administrator Wally Adkinson has had a
major role in the growth of our lodge. Without his advice and
receptive attitude for change we wouldn't have come as far as we
have in all area's of the lodge for the betterment of all our
members. During the next year we will be making more changes to
improve our membership ,which in turn helps Mooseheart, Moosehaven
and all the various charities we support. Attending our meetings is
important for many reasons. It's your way of of learning what is
happening in the lodge, where help may be needed, you will hear the
financial state of the lodge, you will hear of members who are ill
and need your prayers and support. You will learn of new members, of
up coming events before they are posted and give advice on future
events. You will give YOUR board members great satisfaction in
knowing members care enough about THEIR lodge to attend meetings.
There are many rewards for both you and the lodge when members get
involved. I hope to see you at a meeting in the near future.
I would like to thank all the
members who helped paint the social quarters-Michelle Roberts, Linda
Ridner, Ellen Jones, Kathy O'Dell, Mark LaBiento and very big thank
you to Brian from Sherwin Williams who donated the paint which looks
great!!
